Florida Public Land Hunting

DUETTE PRESERVE IN MANATEE COUNTY WILL BE HOLDING A HUNT ORIENTATION IN JANUARY OF 2017. IF YOU DID NOT ATTEND THAT LAST YEAR, WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO THAT THIS YEAR. DUETTE IS THE FINEST TRACT OF PUBLIC HUNTING LAND WE HAVE EVER HUNTED.

There are over 5 million acres of public land in Florida available for hunting. From Big Cypress Preserve to Ocala National Forest, Sarasota Outfitter Service (SOS) is your guide for learning to hunt in Florida.  We can help whether you are new to hunting, new to Florida or just new to hunting on public land.

There are special challenges one faces when hunting on public land in Florida.  These challenges are

  • finding the land,
  • accessing it,
  • off-season scouting,
  • proximity of other hunters and
  • encounters with non-hunters or anti-hunters.

Let us help you master these challenges.
